USA PATRIOT ACT SEARCH
In order to comply with Executive Order 13224, real estate settlement providers must check the names of all
relevant parties in a real estate transaction against the individuals and organizations on the SDN List to ensure
that the real estate settlement provider is not engaging in such a prohibited transaction or dealing.

NOTE: You can have the computer do the search for you by pressing CTRL + F. (After the Adobe document is open.) That will bring up
the Find feature which will automatically search the document for the name you enter.
If you are a member of ALTA, you can go to their website to conduct your search. Using your username and password provided by ALTA, go to
WWW.ALTA.ORG and log in. In the column on the left, there is a link for USA PATRIOT Act Search.
Once you have found that page, scroll down to the bottom and enter the name involved in the transaction. It will automatically
bring up any matches based on your search.
